 FALL CONFERENCE NOVEMBER 1-2      SAVE THE DATE ANNOUNCEMENT

Greetings AAPC Atlantic Region Colleagues! 

We are six months from our annual AAPC Atlantic Region Fall Conference for November 1 - 2.  The Conference is already taking shape.  Our theme this year is "Connecting Our Communities and Responding Creatively in the Accountable Care Era!"  We have several outstanding speakers lined up, including Ron Manderscheid, Executive Director of the National Association of Community Behavioral Health; Ron spoke at the Leesburg AAPC Conference last year. We also have another Ron, our own Ron King who has had a very effective career bringing new forms of pastoral care and counseling into his community in Georgia; Ron is the Executive Director of The Pastoral Institute in Columbus.  Ron King will conduct a workshop on how to forge strong collaborations within our communities and the potential for developing significant funding to support that work. 

In addition to these fine speakers and workshop leaders, we have students coming to present a poster session and two graduate psychology students from Virginia Commonwealth University coming to present their research on spirituality. Finally, we are reaching out to our clusters to help us develop their presence and contributions to our weekend conference.
