Hotel Reservations

Make reservations byFebruary 25th to lock in the AAPC rate!

A special room rate of $114 plus tax (currently 13% plus $1 per night) has been arranged by the Norfolk Waterside Marriott Hotel for the American Association of Pastoral Counselors, March 24-30, 2008, based on availability.

Reservations should be made by February 25, 2008 to lock in the special low rate.

Reservations must be accompanied by a first night room deposit or guaranteed with a major credit card. The Marriott will not hold reservations after 6:00pm on day of arrival unless secured by one of these methods.

To reserve hotel accommodations by phone, please call the toll free reservations number at 1-800-228-9290 or to call the hotel directly at 757-627-4200. To receive the discounted rate, you must identify yourself as being with the American Association of Pastoral Counselors at the time reservations are made.

To reserve your hotel accommodations online and receive the discounted rate for rooms between March 24-29, go to Marriott’s home page (http://www.marriott.com/orfws) and use the group code: apcapca, along with the room dates being requested. NOTE: If a room is requested before March 24 and/or after March 29, please call the hotel directly to reserve a room outside the group blocked dates.

Check in: 3:00pm. Check out: Noon. If available, early check in and late check out may be obtainable upon request. Arrangements for baggage storage can be made through the hotel bell captain.

Hotel Cancellation Charge

Cancellations may be made until 6:00pm on the day of arrival, otherwise, one night’s room and tax will be charged to the credit card, or the deposit will be retained.

Parking: Self-parking is available at a fee of $19.00 per day at the Main Street Parking Garage located across from the hotel (entrance is on Atlantic Street). A covered pedestrian bridge connects the garage to the hotel. Limited valet parking is available at a rate of $26.00 per day.

Personal Checks/ATM: Hotel guests may utilize the ATM or may cash personal checks up to $50 per day. (Rates are subject to change.)

Package Shipping to Norfolk Marriott

If it is necessary to ship any materials to the hotel, each item must be properly marked with our association’s name (AAPC), your name, date of function, and name of hotel contact. The hotel reserves the right to refuse to accept packages that appear damaged, and in any event, assumes no liability for the condition of the contents of such packages. The hotel will not accept responsibility for meeting materials delivered prior to seven (7) days before the function.

Materials shipped to the Norfolk Waterside Marriott Hotel must not arrive earlier than March 17th. Include the followinginformation on each package:
